For those of you who haven't seen it, I highly encourage you do so as soon as possible. It's so trashy and so funny you won't be able to watch it just once.
The television show will be a prequel to the movie and will be bringing back many of the stars who appeared in the full length feature. Olivia-Newton-John will be reprising her role as Bitsy Mae Harling (a lesbian singer and guitar playing leather bound lady). Olivia also sings several of the songs appearing in the movie version and evidentially the television show.
